1脂味觉的分子机制与肥胖调控研究：主要以模式动物斑马鱼为研究对象，鉴定新的脂味觉
受体，并对脂类摄食与肥胖的调控进行研究，进而开发具有调节肥胖作用的潜在药物；
2分子进化研究：主要以处于无脊椎动物与脊椎动物进化节点的文昌鱼为研究对象，揭示化
学感觉、内分泌调控和免疫等系统进化的奥秘；
3海洋生物功能基因开发：对具有潜在重要应用价值的海洋生物功能基因进行克隆并研究其
功能。

2003-现在，中国海洋大学海洋生命学院讲师、副教授、教授。
2012-2013, 美国Utah State University访问学者。
2007-2008，法国科学院欧洲味觉研究中心博士后，德国汉堡大学分子神经研究所博士后。
