研究方向：藻类分子生物学与遗传育种、分子遗传学与基因组学、海洋生物学
国家藻类产业技术体系江蓠种质资源收集与育种岗位科学家（2017-至今）；主持在研国家自然科学基金1项，作为课题负责人参与山东省重点研发计划（农业良种工程）项目1项，福建省科技重大专项专题项目1项；先后获各级科研奖励7项，其中国家科技进步二等奖1项，省部级一等奖3项、二等奖3项（第一完成人2项）。以第一完成人获国家水产新品种（GS-04-001-2014）证书；以第一完成人获国家发明专利授权6项。以第一和通讯作者在Plant Biotechnology Journal，Journal of Phycology, Aquaculture, Algal Research, Harmful Algae等著名期刊发表SCI论文70余篇。
