主要科研领域：
主要从事细胞信号调控器官发育和再生的分子机制研究。
利用斑马鱼和果蝇模式动物，鉴定细胞谱系和组织器官形成过程中的重要调控因子及信号通路，解析信号通路的关键成员及转导途径，探索动物发育与再生过程中的内在分子调控机制。以首作者或通讯作者身份已在Science、Cell、Nature Communications、Science Signaling、Journal of Cell Biology、FASEB Journal、Science China Life Sciences等领域内主流刊物上发表的论文二十余篇，论文他引近千次。
目前主要在研方向包括：1）造血器官发育及血细胞谱系发生的调控机理；2）生殖细胞分化成熟过程中重要调控因子的鉴定及功能、机制研究；3）蛋白质翻译后修饰在发育信号转导途径中的功能解析。
