主要从事贝类遗传学与育种研究,聚焦在三个方面:
1) 扇贝生长和耐温性状的高通量测定技术开发;
2) 扇贝重要经济性状的分子调控机制研究;
3) 扇贝杂交育种和杂种优势解析。
近5年,主持国家自然科学基金1项、山东省自然科学基金1项、山东省农业良种工程项目1项,参与国家和省部级项目10余项;担任现代农业产业技术体系贝类体系-扇贝种质资源与品种改良岗位专家;担任《渔业科学进展》青年编委。发表SCI论文50余篇,第一/通讯作者论文25篇,授权国家发明专利16项;培育“海益丰”系列海湾扇贝等高产抗逆国审贝类新品种;获青岛市科学技术进步一等奖1项(2022年,第2完成人)、山东省海洋科技创新奖一等奖1项(2024年,第2完成人);指导研究生,1人获“山东省优秀博士学位论文”、“山东省优秀毕业生”,1人获“研究生国家奖学金”; 1人获山东省“职业规划大赛”二等奖;2人获方宗熙“未来之星”。
