主要从事海洋污染和生物监测研究，包括海洋环境污染物的时空动态监测，鸟类生态毒理学，污染物的生物富集与毒性效应等。已在国内外主流刊物发表论文二十余篇，成果发表在Environ. Sci. Technol.，Environ. Int.，等国际权威期刊上。主持承担了国家自然科学基金青年项目，中国博士后科学基金面上项目等课题。
